Position: Head of Galenic (m/f/d)
As Head of Galenic you are a direct report to the COO and the pivotal person for the galenic team. You will have the responsibility to shape concepts for formulation development in close collaboration with our customers and our expert teams.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensuring timely and targeted development of dosage forms on behalf of customers
- Production of clinical samples and registration batches
- Setting priorities and coordinating teams within the company
- Heading the galenics team with 8+ employees
- Identifying, establishing, and improving of innovative approaches of formulation concepts for a wide range of dosage forms (solids, semi-solids, oral thin films, transdermalpatches, 3D-API- printed solids)
- Providing formulation developmentreflecting customer needs
- Creating an inspiring environment which stimulates personnel and partners
- Focusing on customer centricity
Your Qualifications and Experiences
- University degree in life sciences preferably in the field of Pharmacy, Bio-Technology or a related discipline
- 5-7 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Profound professional experience in analytical development,formulation development and manufacturing processes of pharmaceutical dosage forms under GMP Guidelines, especially in the field of challenging and innovativedrug delivery systems
- Good knowledge of official regulations (German and European guidelines, FDA, etc.)and quality management
- Very good motivation skills and authentic leadership style
- Experience in managing projects CMO and CDMO
- Language skills: German &English (business fluent)
- Social competence,holistic thinking and sense of responsibility
- Independent, committed, solution-oriented way of working and team competence
- Good MS-Office and EDP skills
